Fire & Brimstone are a husband & wife team who also go by other stage names; Phil G & Lori Marie and The Norris Couple. Although they write and sing originals, they mostly perform cover songs with many infused with Reggae and a Caribbean flavor. Their stage presence and sweet harmonies delight and captivate audiences of all ages.
After 15 years of building a rewarding career in Southern California, they relocated to Central Arkansas in 2004 to care for elders. While engaging more senior citizens, this talented duo reinvented themselves to appeal to new audiences. They are in demand at Senior Living Retirement Resorts providing music therapy singing songs from the 40’s and 50’s. The couple expresses great fulfillment from these shows. The expansion of adding County, Blues and Rock along with singing in Spanish they again built a rewarding career, with an increase of many established and exclusive venues, festivals and fans.
Fire, a.k.a. Lori Harris-Norris, showed signs of her love for entertaining at the early age of five when she began ballet and tap. She danced on stages for a decade. Later, acting and singing became a great part of her high school and college years. Fire began singing professionally in mid-1980's. She also became involved in promoting, producing and booking artist. She is the creator and producer of the original 'Woman In Reggae' revue in the Los Angeles area which featured headliners as well as aspiring female musicians and vocalist on many shows from 1987 to 1999.
Brimstone, also known as Phillip Norris, was born and raised on the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Dominica / The Commonwealth of Dominica; has been passionate about music since high school. This singer songwriter is a self-taught, accomplished musician who plays guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and percussions. He has built a solid reputation in New York, Texas, Florida, Utah, California, Nevada and parts of the Caribbean performing on show bills with headliners and with over 40 bands on hundreds of shows throughout his career. Many great artists have influenced him such as Carlos Santana, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and more.
Some career highlights include being contracted and featured for two years by Starbucks Coffee Company singing at 19 different locations in Southern California. Also, Lori / Fire was honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem on many occasions. Another is performing at upscale hotels like the Hilton Hotel chain. Including a show at The Noga Hilton on the French Riviera in 2003 when they traveled to Midem International Music Market. The largest venue performance was at Long Beach Arena where 5 other musicians joined to showcase their full band, "Judgement Day". They have aroused crowds to roaring ovations at festivals and concerts. The Duo formed in 1989, when Brimstone taught Fire to play Reggae and Caribbean music on the keyboards. They soon married and have been performing weekly shows since that time which is the reason for their incredible distinct sound that commands your attention.
